You observe a table with a couple of open spots. Which position should you occupy? That is a matter of personal preference. Is there a captivating guy or girl gambling alone at one end of the craps table? Which individuals are using cigarettes? Which look cynical? Who appear inebriated or atrocious? Pick a location where you will feel the most comfortable.

I prefer participating on the end, right beside to the croupier. On the end, I do not have to worry about individuals on either side of me. I do not like wagering near to the stickman as I always seem to get in the way of him trying to get the dice or angling the stick.

After gambling for a bit, you will get a taste for your preferred spot. You do not have an option when it is packed. If you end up in a crappy location (e.g., an awful guy is near you), just shift to another free spot. If the table is full, wait until a player walks away and take their position. Be aware of a gambler "coloring up," which is a sign that she’s departing, and inform the croupier that you wish to take over her seat. The croupier will then hold that location and not allow a different person to rapidly step in. The croupier will politely request the new gambler to switch to the spot that you vacate. Clearly, when you change locations, do not leave your your chips.

Folks next to you can have an affect on your feeling and entire playing experience. They can make it fun or horrible. You might get stuck next to a chimney like fat guy with awful body odor, or it could be a bevy of drunk angels spilling out of their halter tops. So, choose your spot wisely.
