If you like to take a drink every so often, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am not joking. clean out your handbag, your wallet, and leave all money, debit cards and checks at home. Take just the cash you are planning to use on beverages, tipping and whatever loose change you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Realistic more like. You might well discover a win after a drunken night out with your friends and be fortunate enough to hit a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Hang on to that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you constantly drink and wager. The 2 just do not mix.
Keeping your cash at home is a little dramatic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is proportionate and required. If you bet to succeed, then don’t drink and bet. If you are able to manage to throw away your cash without a worry, then drink all the no cost booze your belly can handle, but do not take debit cards and checks to throw into the mix of going after losses once your drunk as a skunk brain throws away all the cash!
